Role: Breakfast Setup Producer & Assistant Producer

Responsibilities: -Working collaboratively with the presenter and output producer to determine which stories feature in the show and in what order.
-Finding, contacting and booking appropriate guests to talk on air about each story.
-Preparing the rundown and brief with all the details about the show for the team to use during broadcast.
-Writing straplines and updating these accordingly during the show so that the story being discussed is succinctly summarised for viewers.
-Ensuring guest name/title appears on screen at the relevant time.
-Working with the team in the studio to ensure all information is correct before going out on air.
-Adjusting to ever-changing rundown so that the three-hour show airs as seamlessly as possible.
